UFC Ronda Rousey Fallen

Ronda Rousey might be hot enough to don this year’s cover of Sports Illustrated’s iconic Swimsuit Edition wearing nothing but body paint, but apparently she’s not hot enough to look exactly how she does in everyday life to promote her appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

On Thursday, Rousey, or one of her handlers, posted the above image on her Instagram account thanking everyone who helped glam her out for her spot in Fallon. She looks flawless, right? Perhaps, too flawless for a fighter?

Sun’s out, guns out. But since it was late night for The Tonight Show, her guns went into Photoshop hiding – much to Rousey’s dismay.

“I have to make an apology to everyone – I was sent a picture to share on social for Fallon that was altered without me knowing to make my arms look smaller. I won’t say by who – I know it was done with severely misplaced positive intentions – but this goes against everything I believe and I am extremely proud of every inch of my body. And I can assure you all it will never happen again. I could not be more appalled and hope you all forgive me.”

While Rousey declined to put whoever photoshopped her arms without her consent on blast, one can only assume the person works for NBC Universal since the original picture Rousey posted shows their copyright at the bottom left corner.

Rousey hasn’t been shy about the way she looks since putting her eating disorder in her rear-view mirror. Just to prove a point, Rousey intentionally packed on some additional pounds when graced the cover of Maxim Magazine in 2013.

Oh, and let’s not forget her epic rant before blasting Bethe Correia at UFC 190 where she coined her now-trademarked catchphrase “Do Nothing Bitch.”

“That’s why I think it’s hilarious if people say that my body looks masculine, or something like that. I’m just like, ‘Listen, just because my body was developed for a purpose other than f**king millionaires doesn’t mean it’s masculine,” Rousey said.

“I think it’s femininely bad-ass as f**k because there’s not a single muscle on my body that isn’t for a purpose. Because, I’m not a do nothing bitch. It’s not very eloquently said, but it’s to the point. And, maybe that’s just what I am. I’m not that eloquent, but I’m to the point.”

Just before losing her title to Holly Holm at UFC 193 in November, Rousey dared anyone to call her out on her looks.

“I swear to God, if anyone calls me fat one more time in my life, I’m going to kill them,” Rousey deadpanned.

Ironically, Rousey has been making the media rounds this week to promote her SI cover.
