UFC Michael Bisping

Michael Bisping (pictured), you just beat Anderson Silva to notch the biggest win of your 12-year MMA career, what do you want next? The ever elusive UFC title fight that you haven’t been able to secure for the past decade?

Nope. How about a meaningless tango against someone who hasn’t won a bout since beating an over-the-hill BJ Penn in October 2011?

After taking a controversial unanimous decision win over Silva on Saturday, many thought it was the perfect time for “The Count” to demand a title fight. Instead, Bisping was radio silent on calling out the winner of June’s rematch between UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold and Chris Weidman.

Bisping allowed his thumbs to do the talking for him Sunday night, however.

Following the most significant win of Bisping’s career, Diaz posted a meme on his verified Facebook page that suggested Bisping enjoyed some home cooking from the judges in order to beat Silva:

After catching wind of Diaz’s posted, Bisping responded in true Bisping fashion:

Diaz has yet to return fire. He’s likely busy getting younger brother Nate Diaz ready to fight Conor McGregor on 11 days’ notice at UFC 196 on Saturday.

Regardless, Diaz isn’t allowed back in the cage until at least August 1 when his 18-month marijuana suspension expires.
