Apparently it wasn’t too late for Justin Bieber to say sorry to Nate Diaz (pictured). The unexpected rivals appeared to have squashed their short-lived beef Wednesday night.
“All good doe 100%,” Diaz wrote on his Instagram along with the picture below:
This picture was taken at Bieber’s after-part at Warwick nightclub in Hollywood. Diaz had just finished doing his latest set of media rounds at Fox Sports 1 studios in Los Angeles.
Bieber set himself up to receive a Stockton slap after he said Diaz’s fighting “style is terrible” in his shocking submission win over Conor McGregor at UFC 196.
“No bandwagon but Conor is a true champion, fights with style and finesse, all the respect to Nate but his style is terrible. Nate has crazy heart respect,” Bieber wrote.
Bieber was all aboard the McGregor bandwagon entering this month’s matchup, posting a picture of the “Notorious” one to his bazillion social media followers right before UFC 196. He then shot a video toasting to McGregor after the loss and included the whole “all the respect to Nate but his style is terrible” thing.
Diaz caught wind of Bieber’s MMA analysis and quickly fired back by claiming “Bieber’s a hater” in a post of a cartoon image of him slapping the pop sensation with “Shut your bitch ass up!!!!!” as his thought bubble.
The question now is, if the rumored rematch between Diaz and McGregor is arranged for UFC 200, who will Bieber be rooting for? More importantly, is Diaz now a Belieber now?
So many more pertinent questions now than answers. At least for today, all is right with the world once again…
