UFC Demetrious Johnson

UFC flyweight king Demetrious Johnson (pictured) is so boring to watch! That guy never fishes anybody!

Yeah, about that…

Johnson waxed off former Olympic wrestling gold medalist Henry Cejudo in just 169 seconds Saturday at UFC 197. The TKO win marked Johnson’s eighth straight title defense.

Further silencing his haters, Cejuda was the fifth victim Johnson has finished off before the final horn in his past seven outings. Find another UFC champion with that kind of finishing stretch.

For what it’s worth, Johnson is probably MMA’s pound-for-pound king.

Johnson has lapped the flyweight field at this point, but he’s not quite ready to bounce back to bantamweight just yet. “Mighty Mouse” first wants to overtake former middleweight champion Anderson Silva for the most consecutive UFC title defenses at 10.

UFC 197 took place inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
