It is being reported that UFC light heavyweights Matt Hamill and Reece Andy have agreed to face each other at the UFC 92 “The Ultimate 2008” event on December 27th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The two will be joining a star-studded cast of fighters, as the UFC once again intends to end the year with a bang.

MMAJunkie.com was the first to report the fight, as they confirmed with sources close to both fighters that agreements have been reached, and contracts should be finalized shortly.

Both fighters are coming off of loses in their last Octagon appearances. Andy (7-2) lost to Brandon Vera at UFC Fight Night 14 in a rather lethargic appearance.  The former IFL veteran will look to get his career back on track in his second UFC bout.

Hamill, the former “The Ultimate Fighter Season 3” contestant, has posted a decent 4-2 professional record, all coming in the UFC. Hamill lost to former UFC middleweight champion Rich Franklin at UFC 88 via TKO, however he seemed to be too starstruck to put up much of a fight against his hero.

Here are the fighters Rumored to be competing at UFC 92:

Brad Blackburn vs. Ryo Chonan
Antonio Hardonk vs. Mark Burch
CB Dollaway vs. Mike Massenzio
Reece Andy vs. Matt Hamill
Mustafa Al-Turkm vs. Cheick Kongo
Dean Lister vs. Yushin Okami
Wanderlei Silva vs. Quinton “Rampage” Jackson
Frank Mir vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (UFC Interim Heavyweight Champion)
Rashad Evans vs. Forrest Griffin (UFC Light Heavyweight Champion)
