A heavyweight battle between former champions Andrei Arlovski (pictured) and Josh Barnett will headline UFC Fight Night in Hamburg.
The UFC announced the matchup Sunday night.
The September 3 event goes down inside Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, Germany.
Both fighters are looking to bounce back from losses. Arlovski has dropped two straight scraps after enjoying a late career resurgence where he had rattled off six consecutive victories.
“The Pit Bull” suffered a TKO loss to teammate Alistair Overeem earlier this month.
Barnett, meanwhile, was submitted by Ben Rothwell in January. “The Warmaster” has won just half of his past six fights.
It is unknown if UFC Fight Pass, Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2 or some combination of the three will make the event available for live viewing in America.
No other bouts have been reported for the lineup.
