The official weigh-ins for “UFC 203: Miocic vs. Overeem” take place Friday in Cleveland. The early weigh-ins began early this morning at 9AM ET/6AM PT, but you can stream the ceremonial weigh-ins live right here on 5thRound.com starting at 6PM ET/3PM PT.
Everyone on the card has already tipped the scale, including former WWE superstar Phil “CM Punk” Brooks. Despite the rumors that have been circulating about Brooks having issues cutting weight, he hit 170 pounds on the dot for his welterweight affair against Mickey Gall. In fact, Brooks had a pound to spare.
Brooks looked lifeless and frail in his suit during Thursday’s pre-fight press conference, which only added fuel to the weight cutting fire. Thankfully for fans who have long been waiting for him to make his MMA debut, it is official after he and Gall (170.5 pounds) hit their marks.
Saturday’s main event between heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic (pictured) and challenger Alistair Overeem is also official after they both stayed well under the 265-pound max.
