With all the hoopla surrounding UFC 205, it’s easy to forget that UFC 205 goes down first. Michael Bisping (pictured) makes his first title defense when he meets a familiar foe in Dan Henderson in the show’s featured attraction.
“The Count” has been counting the days until he can try to avenge his 2009 highlight reel knockout to Henderson. Bisping is confident that this time, with his freshly-minted UFC middleweight belt on the line, it will be a TRT-less Henderson who will find himself unconscious on the canvas.
Henderson, meanwhile, has stated he will retire from the sport, win, lose or draw. This marks Henderson’s 47th professional fights, an illustrious career that he started way back in 1997.
Bisping will have home cage advantage this time around, with Manchester Arena in England hosting the October 8 rematch.
