On Wednesday, it was announced a middleweight scrap between Kelvin Gastelum (pictured) and Vitor Belfort will headline UFC Fight Night 107.
The event takes takes place March 11 inside Olympic Training Center in Fortaleza, Brazil.
Gastelum, a reluctant middleweight, is just four days removed from beating Tim Kennedy at UFC 206. After multiple issues on the scale for welterweight fights, “The Ultimate Fighter 17” winner says he’s content with competing at middleweight as long as the opponents make sense.
There was chatter Belfort was going to retire after getting plastered by Gegard Mousasi in October. It was “The Phenom’s” third loss in his past four outings. The 39-year-old could very well call it a career in front of his fellow Brazilian brethren with a loss to Gastelum.
The UFC also announced a lightweight battle between Edson Barbosa and Beneil Dariush for the lineup.
Fox Sports 1 will likely broadcast the main card live in America.
