And then there were 11… UFC strawweight Jessica Andrade (pictured) will be all dressed up with nowhere to go on New Years Eve-eve.
It appears the UFC was unable to secure a last-minute replacement to fight her at UFC 207, so they were forced to pull Andrade from the December 30 lineup.
Andrade was originally slated to face Maryna Moroz, and then Angela Hill, but both ladies were unable to keep their appointment.
According to UFC.com, the flyweight fight between Louis Smolka and Ray Borg has been bumped to the main card in Andrade’s absence.
The good news for fight fans is that Ronda Rousey will still be challenging women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes for her crown in the show’s featured attraction – hopefully I didn’t just jinx anything right there.
In addition, men’s bantamweight champ Dominick Cruz defends his throne against bitter rival Cody Garbrandt in the co-main event.
T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada hosts the festivities.
