The UFC 111 main event between champion Georges St-Pierre and Dan Hardy may not be as box office as the GSP/BJ Penn scrap that headlined UFC 94, but the organization and Spike TV have brought back “UFC Primetime” to help promote the March 27th event at the Jersey Shore.

The three-part “UFC Primetime” special debuts Wednesday, March 10, at 10PM ET/PT, with subsequent episodes airing on March 17 and March 24 at the same timeslot.

GSP was featured in the only other “UFC Primetime” edition for his highly anticipated rematch against Penn last January. The UFC was hoping to duplicate the success that boxing experienced when they ran “De La Hoya-Mayweather 24/7″ on HBO.

The show will provide exclusive coverage of the two fighters are they prepare for their 5Round affair inside the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Hardy is riding a seven-fight winning streak and owns an impressive 23-6 professional record overall.  The Brit was last seen taking a unanimous decision over Mike Swick at UFC 105 in November, propelling himself into a title fight with the world’s baddest welterweight.

GSP owns a dominating 19-2 record and has rolled off six consecutive wins of his own. The French-Canadian pulled his groin muscle while overwhelming Thiago Alves during their UFC 100 fight last April. The lopsided unanimous decision performance further separated St-Pierre from the rest of the 170-pound field.
