This season’s most rambunctious cast member of “The Ultimate Fighter,” Junie Browning, has joined forces with one of MMA’s most respected camps, Xtreme Couture. Thus far on the show, Browning has earned a reputation as an out of control alcoholic. On numerous occasions he has come close to being kicked off of the reality series, however his raw talent has earned him a few more lives. UFC heavyweight champion Randy Couture states that Browning has been nothing but business since joining his team a week and a half ago.
“He’s been very quiet in the gym, there’s been no antics, there’s been no nothing,” Couture told MMAWeekly.com. “He shows up everyday and straps his gloves on and gets his work done.”
Browning entered the show holding an untested 2-0 professional record. He defeated Roli Delgado in a close decision on last week’s episode to advance to the semi-finals.
Deciding to train with Xtreme Coutre was a significant career move, one that he should certainly benefit from. Not only does the talent-rich gym currently hold two UFC champions in Couture and light heavyweight champ Forrest Griffin, but Browning will benefit from the level of professionalism and class that these fighters treat the MMA game with. Clearly, that is the are Browning needs the most schooling in.
