Breaking news: UFC president Dana White is a liar.
OK, so that’s nothing new to those who live in this tiny MMA bubble, but Nate Diaz (pictured) decided to reiterate that fact Monday.
Diaz issued a tweet responding to White’s comments over the weekend that he and his brother, Nick Diaz, will be riding the pine for quite some time because they keep turning down fights.
“We keep offering Nate fights and he keeps turning them down. Nick, too,” White told TMZ Sports.
Well, according to Nate, he hasn’t heard anything from White after he declined a bout against former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez last month.
This fucker can't stop making shit up about me and I haven't been offered any fights except the one Iaughed at 👊🏼🖕🏼 pic.twitter.com/7gRskEXEP9

After scoring consecutive massive paydays in his last two fights against UFC cash cow Conor McGregor, Diaz is now only interested in “money fights.” He was hoping for a trilogy with McGregor, but now that McGregor is pursuing a blockbuster boxing match with Floyd Mayweather, Diaz will have to look elsewhere.
Despite the UFC lack of star power, as we all know full well, they don’t stop the train for anybody. If Diaz had beaten McGregor in their last encounter to go up 2-0, he would have far more leverage at the bargaining table.
In the meantime, Diaz appears content with just “living my life.”
Nick, meanwhile, reportedly declined bouts against Robbie Lawler and Demian Maia. He is fresh off an 18-month marijuana suspension and has been waiting for White to present him with an opponent to his liking.
