Former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is engaged to marry Travis Browne.
The lovebirds revealed their newly engaged status Thursday to TMZ.com. They have been dating since 2015.
Browne said he popped the question about a week ago under a waterfall in New Zealand.
Rousey said they have not set a date for the big day.
Browne is 34 and Rousey is 30. Neither have been married before.
After getting knocked out cold by Holly Holm at UFC 193 in November 2015, Rousey said she quickly realized she needed to marry Browne and “have his babies” after seeing how he helped her pick up the pieces of her shattered fighting career.
After taking the MMA world by storm, Rousey has suffered two consecutive lopsided knockout losses. It is unknown if she will ever enter the cage again.
Browne, meanwhile, has dropped five of his past seven scraps, including three straight.
The two MMA fighters might not be winning inside the cage, but the couple is winning at love.
UFC president Dana White couldn’t be happier for his BFF.
“I’m very happy for Ronda and I’m looking forward to the wedding!” White told TMZ.
No word if White will serve as one of Rousey’s bridesmaids.
