The last time Max Holloway lost a fight, it was to Conor McGregor. After Holloway easily disposed of Jose Aldo at UFC 218, McGregor wanted to remind Holloway of their 2013 tango.

McGregor posted a unanimous decision victory over Holloway at UFC Fight Night 26, but that seems like many moons ago. Holloway has since rattled off 11 consecutive wins, nine of which were finishes, en route to capturing the UFC featherweight crown.
Speaking of the featherweight belt, it didn’t take long for Holloway to catch wind of McGregor’s jab. The Hawaiian took the opportunity to remind McGregor that it ain’t 2015 anymore, and that there’s a new 145-pound sheriff in town.
Miss the sunglasses? I bet you also miss 2015 brother. Retired fighters love the past. pic.twitter.com/UWGnJG2KEe

McGregor unified the UFC featherweight belt by blasting Aldo two years ago. He never defended the gold and was stripped of the title after winning the UFC lightweight belt 11 months later.
McGregor has yet to defend the lightweight belt, as well.
Much has changed since Holloway and McGregor first collided. Holloway is padding his resume to become the most decorated featherweight in MMA history, while McGregor has become the most famous and richest mixed martial artist to ever live.
It was hard for many pundits, including yours truly, to wonder how THIS Holloway would do against McGregor. Clearly, McGregor was wondering the same through his designer flip-up sunglasses.
