Has anyone seen Uriah Hall? Because the middleweight didn’t show up for Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 124 weigh-ins.
The UFC announced Hall missed the two-hour weigh-in window and wouldn’t be tipping the scale. A specific explanation wasn’t given for why Hall pulled a no-show, but it’s likely he was have major issues hitting the 186 pound maximum for his non-title middleweight bout against Vitor Belfort.
The middleweight affair was slated to co-headline Sunday’s show inside Scottrade Center in St. Louis.
Hall admitted earlier this week that his “body shut down” during training camp.
Belfort did his job by weighing 186 pounds.
Belfort announced this week that Sunday would mark his final mixed martial arts fight. The 40-year-old owns a controversial 26-13 (1 NC) professional record. Despite being a former UFC champion, he will likely be remembered most for being the poster child for Testosterone Replacement Therapy.
“The Phenom” has yet to address Hall’s setback. It is likely he will shelf retirement for another day.
It is unknown if Hall or Belfort will receive their show money.
The UFC did not announce which bout will get bumped to the new co-main event slot.
