Video: Jim Rome ‘Burning’ On Brock Lesnar’s Heatlh Care Comments

Last week on ESPN’s “Jim Rome is Burning,” the controversial sports personality shared his thoughts on UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar’s attitude and comments regarding Canada’s poor health care system.

Rome gave his take the day after Lesnar announced he would be returning to the Octagon after a “miracle” recovery.

The former All-American wrestler was diagnosed with diverticulitis by two American doctors and was treated without having to go under the knife, a decision that saved his MMA career and quality of life.

After years of resistance, Rome finally converted to an MMA advocate a couple years back. Several UFC fighters, including lightweight champ BJ Penn, president Dana White and Lesnar himself, have appeared as guests on Rome’s popular shows.

However, Romey appears ticked that, despite being granted a new lease on life, Lesnar didn’t emerge any more humbled than when fans last saw him. You remember, the embarrassing spectacle following his UFC 100 victory over Frank Mir…
