It is being reported that rising star Todd Duffee will be facing Mike Russow at UFC 114 on May 29th.
CagedIn.com was the first to report on the heavyweight clash, which is expected to take place inside the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Duffee was last seen setting the UFC knockout record against Tim Hague at UFC 102. It took the Xtreme Couture-trained fighter all of seven seconds to put Hague to sleep.
Following the impressive performance, Duffee made it perfectly clear he wanted another fight as quickly as possible, however was temporarily derailed when he was forced to pull out of his UFC 107 fight against veteran Paul Buentello with an undisclosed injury.
Russow is riding an eight-fight winning streak and took a unanimous decision over Justin McCully at the same UFC 102 event. The journeyman holds a dominant 12-1 professional record with eight of his W’s coming by way of submission.
