The Nevada State Athletic Commission released the salaries earned by all of the fighters that competed on this past weekend’s UFC 91 event. Newly crowned UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar not only walked away with the title, he also earned the night’s largest purse, $450,000. Randy Couture earned a cool $250,000 for his efforts.
Keep in mind that these are only salaries and win bonuses, it is likely that these two will be rewarded by the UFC with a percentage of the Pay-Per-View purchases. These are bonuses that the NSAC does not have access to and is strictly between the UFC and its fighters.
UFC 91 was held in front of 14,272 fans at the MGM Grand Garden Hotel and Casino. The event was not sold out, however still earned the UFC $4.8 Million at the gate, the fourth largest amount in organization history.
