Martin Kampmann, who currently holds a 13-2 professional record, will be making his welterweight debut at UFC 93. Kampmann has compiled an impressive 4-1 Octagon record in the middleweight class, but will now look to test the waters in one of the UFC’s deepest divisions. No opponent has yet to be named for the Xtreme Couture fighter.

Kampmann’s only loss in the UFC was in his last bout against Nate Marquardt at UFC 85. Outside of that, he has been one of the division’s best fighters. Although he has experienced great success in the division, he is considered a small middleweight, and perhaps may be better suited as a big welterweight.

The Danish fighter is fresh off of signing a four-fight contract extension with the UFC. He has been hampered with knee injuries in the past, which have caused him to miss extended periods of time, however seems to have been able to put that behind him.

Here are the fighters Rumored to be competing at the January 17th event:

Jeremy Horn vs. Rousimar Palhares
Tomasz Drwal vs. Ivan Serati
