The California State Athletic Commission revealed the salaries for all of the fighters that competed on Strikeforce’s “Destruction” event on November 21st. The newly crowned light heavyweight champion, Renato “Babalu” Sobral, walked away with the night’s largest purse of $50,000. Strikeforce’s total disclosed payroll for the night was $319,000.
Strikeforce was able to pack 8,152 fans into the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California, earning them a live gate of $321,520.
