The UFC has officially announced the addition of four bouts to their UFC 94 event. The card will be headlined by one of the most highly anticipated rematches in MMA history, as UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre defends his title against lightweight champion BJ Penn. The clash is set for January 31st at the MGM Grand Garden Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Former “The Ultimate Fighter 1” finalist Stephan Bonnar makes his return to the Octagon after sitting out the last year due to injury. His last Octagon appearance was a TKO win over Eric Schafer at UFC 77 in October of 2007.
Bonnar will be taking on little known Jon Jones, who was victorious in his UFC debut, posting a win over Andre Gusmao at UFC 87.
Also, Manny Gamburyan will be taking on Thiago Tavares, Jake O’Brien will face Christian Wellisch, and Matt Arroyo challenges Dan Cramer.
