The UFC has just announced the addition of two bouts for their highly anticipated “UFC 113: Machida vs. Rua” fight card on May 8th.
A pivotal welterweight affair between bitter rivals Josh Koscheck and Paul Daley was confirmed and will likely serve as the evening’s co-main event.
Although already previously Tweeted by Tom Lawlor, the world’s biggest MMA organization confirmed that the flamboyant middleweight will face Tim Credeur on the card, however didn’t specify whether the two would appear on the televised or non-televised portion of the pay-per-view broadcast.
The UFC didn’t officially announce the heavyweight clash on their website, but UFC president Dana White previously stated during a UFC 109 pre-fight press conference that Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson would be taking on Matt Mitrione inside the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada as well.
The long-rumored light heavyweight rematch between Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and champion Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida will headline the show.
Machida took a controversial unanimous decision over Rua at UFC 104 on October 24th in Los Angeles, CA which prompted White to schedule an immediate do-over.
Here is the most updated roster for UFC 113. All of the bouts below have been confirmed by the UFC except for Kimbo’s:
Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson vs. Matt Mitrione
TJ Grant vs. Johny Hendricks
Marcus Davis vs. Jonathan Goulet
Tim Credeur vs. Tom Lawlor
Patrick Cote vs. Alan Belcher
Sam Stout vs. Jeremy Stephens
Josh Koscheck vs. Paul Daley
