WEC 37 Drug Tests Come Back Clean

Nevada State Athletic Commission executive director Keith Kizer stated that all nine of the fighters that the Commission tested for the December 3rd “WEC 37” event have come back clean.  The NSAC tested all of the fighters for performance enhancing substances, as well as drugs of abuse.

Kizer confirmed the negative test results today with MMAjunkie.com.

Main event fighters Miguel Torres and Manny Tapia were tested, along with Shane Roller, Cub Swanson, Bart Palaszewski, Johny Hendricks, Joseph Benavidez, Brian Bowles and Wagnney Fabiano.

WEC 37 took place at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The NSAC tested all of the fighters for steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs, as well as drugs of abuse such as cocaine, marijuana and heroin.
