The UFC has added two bouts to their February 7th “UFC Fight Night 17” event.  Rich Clementi will be returning to the Octagon to face Gleison Tibau, and undefeated Cain Velasquez will take on UFC newcomer Denis Stojnic in a heavyweight battle. The event will be taking place at the USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Florida.

Clementi had won his previous six bouts before he lost a unanimous decision to Gray Maynard at UFC 90 in October.  He will be looking to get his career back on track against an American Top Team fighter that has dropped his two last UFC bouts.

Tibau will most likely be fighting for his UFC life, as three consecutive losses will not bode well for him as the organization continues to trim its roster.

Stojnic currently holds a 5-1 professional record, however this will be his first bout on the UFC’s big stage.

Meanwhile, Velasquez continues to climb up the shallow UFC heavyweight rankings. He holds a perfect 4-0 record, with all of his wins coming via TKO.

Here are the fighters Rumored to be competing on the event:

Gleison Tibau vs. Gray Maynard
Rob Emerson vs. Kurt Pellegrino
Denis Stojnic vs. Cain Velasquez
Joe Lauzon vs. Hermes Franca
Amir Sadollah vs. Nick Catone
Mac Danzig vs. Josh Neer
