There have been a lot of names thrown around to face former UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell, however he has had one name on his mind for quite some time. No, it isn’t current middleweight champ Anderson Silva. “The Iceman” has his sights on avenging his loss to Keith Jardine.
“There’s been a few names,” Liddell said about possible opponents. “We have (Keith) Jardine listed. We want him in March.”
Liddell has fallen on some hard times of late, losing in three of his last four Octagon appearances. The last time UFC fans saw “The Iceman,” he was knocked out cold after receiving a devastating right hook from Rashad Evans at UFC 88.
The soon-to-be 39-year-old has made some significant changes to his MMA game since his September loss, and he plans to unleash the new and improved Liddell for all fans to see.
“My next fight… I don’t know, but I will come out and use all of my skills,” Liddell stated. “Hopefully from here on out this style will be effective.”
