“The Ultimate Fighter 8 Finale" Generates $405K at the Gate

The Ultimate Fighter 8 Finale” took place two weeks ago at the Pearl inside of the Palms Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Nevada State Athletic Commission revealed that the event drew in a total of 1,853 fans, generating $405,000 at the gate for the UFC.

Nevada State Athletic Commission Executive Director Keith Kizer reported that of the 1,853 in attendance, 1,496 paid with the remaining 357 tickets issued as “comps” by The Palms and the UFC.

There was a total of 289 unused tickets.

Ryan Bader defeated Vinicius Magalhaes in the light heavyweight finals, and Efrain Escudero was victorious in the lightweight final over Phillipe Nover. Bader and Nover each earned themselves a six-figure contract with the UFC.
