Grove Returns to Face Day at UFC 96

“The Ultimate Fighter 3” winner Kendall Grove will be making his return to the Octagon on March 7th to take on Jason Day at UFC 96.  After suffering two consecutive losses in the UFC, Grove rebounded nicely with a solid win over Evan Tanner in June

Grove currently holds a 9-5 professional record, however is only 3-3 inside the UFC fences.

Day holds a 17-7 record and has won six of his last seven. The Canadian is only one and one inside of the Octagon, including a 1stRound TKO loss to Michael Bisping at UFC 85.

UFC 96 will be held at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. Here are the other fighters Rumored to be competing on the night’s event:

Jason Day vs. Kendall Grove
Roger Huerta vs. Spencer Fisher
Shane Carwin vs. Gabriel Gonzaga
Brandon Vera vs. Mike Patt
