Since they came to the organization together, it is only fitting that they make their official debuts on the same card. The winners of this past season’s “The Ultimate Fighter,” Efrain Escudero and Ryan Bader, appear set to begin their promising UFC careers on April 1st in Nashville, Tennessee.
It was reported earlier this month that Escudero had already verbally agreed to a potential matchup with Jeremy Stephens at “UFC Fight Night 18,“ however Bader’s participation on the card just came to light.
Bader shocked the MMA world as he displayed a much improved standup game against Vinny Magalhaes on the “TUF 8 Finale,” knocking out the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu specialist in the 1stRound.
FiveOuncesofPain.com confirmed Bader’s bout with a source close to the situation.
Escudero was quite impressive in his performance against Phillipe Nover on the Finale as well. He was able to use his superior wrestling skills to dominate the matchup, walking away with an easy unanimous decision, as well as a guaranteed future in the UFC.
