Arguably the most anticipated fight in MMA history is now only available on pay-per-view, as the organization announced today that their January 31st event has officially sold out. Welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre will be defending his title against BJ Penn at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada come Super Bowl weekend.

Although the UFC stated that they have sold all of the 14,823 available seats, as of early this morning, fans were still able to purchase a selected number of individual tickets throughout the arena.

GSP already holds a controversial split decision win over the highly decorated Brazilian Jiu Jitsu wizard from their bout at UFC 58 nearly three years ago.

Penn, the current UFC lightweight champion and former UFC welterweight champ, is looking to be the first person in the organization’s history to simultaneously hold titles in two different weight classes.

This is a rematch of epic proportions, and the fans have spoken.
