The former 185-pound top contender holds an impressive 29-9-2 professional record and was last seen dropping a disappointing unanimous decision loss to Chael Sonnen at UFC 109.

Today’s session preceded the official weigh-ins for tomorrow night’s “Vera vs. Jones” event, the organization’s debut on Versus Network.

The fighters will be tipping the scales Saturday evening at 6PM ET/3PM PT.
