If legally changing your name from Jon Koppenhaver to “War Machine” wasn’t enough to prove your insanity, his actions after that certainly have solidified it. Passing on a UFC opponent that you claim isn’t a big enough name for you, badmouthing a highly respected deceased fighter, and now bashing the new President has once again cost War Machine his job.
On his MySpace blog entitled “F*** an Obama,” War Machine stated that he is tired of hearing the President’s name and seeing his face all over the television. The brash fighter went on to call Obama a “mother [expletive],” stating that only, “the liberals and the blacks are happy about change.”
If that wasn’t bad enough, War Machine maliciously said that he, “hopes someone smokes the mother [expletive] and every other president who comes into office until there is an actual leader who is truly one of the people.”
War Machine fired back at his former employers, the UFC, and now Bellator Fighting Championships, for leaving him stranded for simply speaking his mind.
“Seems War Machine is being censored again,” Koppenhaver stated on his blog. “I can’t speak my mind at all without all the faggot higher-ups in the industry getting their panties in a wad. Just how my Evan Tanner bulletin got me kicked out of the UFC it seems that I have been kicked off the Bellator show before it has even begun. Seems they don’t like it when their fighters speak their mind on the politics of the USA and its [expletive]-ass presidents … I’m not changing for anyone or any dollar amount. I could have earned over a quarter million in that tournament but I don’t give a [expletive].”
The rookie MMA organization, BFC, had no choice but to let the unstable War Machine go after his ridiculous comments. They had invited War Machine to compete in their middleweight tournament that is set to air on ESPN Deportes, which unfortunately for him is owned by the PC-conscious ABC.
Prior to that, War Machine was released by the UFC for turning down a fight against Brandon Wolff because he was a lesser name, and days after the death of the ever-classy Evan Tanner, stating that his death was a premeditated suicide.
