UFC Fight Night 17 Attracts Two Million Viewers

This past weekend’s “UFC Fight Night 17” ratings are in and the Spike TV broadcast peaked at a 1.51 rating, attracting two million viewers during the 15-minute period during the night’s main event between Joe Lauzon and Jeremy Stephens. The two-hour broadcast scored an overall 1.3 rating and averaged 1.7 million viewers.

These ratings are down slightly from the two UFC events on Spike TV that preceded Saturday’s fights. “The Ultimate Fighter 8 Finale” earned a 1.3 rating and averaged 1.9 million viewers and “UFC Fight Night 16: Fight for the Troops” achieved a 1.3 rating with 1.9 million viewers.

The UFC once again scored big among the key demographics, earning tops with  Men 18-49 and Men 18-34 for the time period.

UFC Fight Night 17 took place in front of 7,596 fans at the Sun Dome in Tampa, Florida.
