Prior to his bout with Jim Miller tonight at “UFC 111: St-Pierre vs. Hardy,” lightweight Mark Bocek took time out of his busy schedule to talk to Tom Ngo of 5thRound.com.
Known for his highly-touted Jiu-Jitsu skills, Bocek has put together a respectable 4-2 record in the Octagon and has an opportunity to make a big splash on tonight’s pay-per-view broadcast.
“I’ve worked on all the areas, Miller’s a grinder. He’s got good cardio so I’ve just made sure to be in extra special good shape for this fight,” Bocek told 5thRound.com.
A winner in his last three fights, Bocek’s only losses in the Octagon have come against former winner of “The Ultimate Fighter” Mac Danzig and current number one contender Frankie Edgar.
With a win tonight, Bocek could find himself in the thick of the UFC’s 155-pound division.
