Diego Sanchez and Clay Guida have signed on to headline “The Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale” on June 20th at the Palms Hotel and Resort.
Sanchez is fresh off of an impressive win over Joe Stevenson at UFC 95 scoring a convincing unanimous decision in his lightweight debut. It marked the third UFC weight class that the New Mexico-native has competed in.
Guida is one of the division’s most exciting fighters, and is currently riding a three-fight winning streak. His most recent victory came at UFC 94, where he squeaked out a razor-sharp split decision over Nate Diaz.
This is guaranteed to be an explosive bout, as both fighters possess incredible wills to win and never-ending cardio.
Sherdog.com was the first to report that both fighters had agreed to headline the Spike TV broadcast.
