At Saturday’s UFC 96 post-fight press conference, the organization announced that three fighters would each be awarded an additional $60,000 for their special performances. Also, UFC president Dana White reported that 17,033 spectators packed into the Nationwide Arena, garnering a gate of $1.8 million.

Headliners Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Keith Jardine earned Fight of the Night honors, while Matt Hamill walked away with Knockout of the Night.

The bonus amounts were up significantly from the $40,000 awards that were issued at UFC 95 in February, however are slightly down from the $65,000 bonuses handed out at UFC 94.

There was no successful submission executed on Saturday night’s card.
