UFC President Dana White

Dana White has promised a lot of things since he’s taken over the UFC, but he’s delivered more times than not so it’s hard not to believe him this time.

“The big thing I need now is a big television network. I’m going to be landing it here pretty soon,” White said in a recent interview.

For the past couple of months, rumors have been floating around the UFC regarding a major network deal with CBS.

With another trip to the U.K. next week, as well as the debut of Brock Lesnar, things are looking up for a company that had its heavyweight champion Randy Couture literally walk away from the organization.

“Every year, we’ve taken this to another level. … Wait till you see what I do in 2008 with network TV,” White stated.

2008 just started, but its shaping up to be a great year for the UFC and MMA fans in general.
