The Ohio Athletic Commission has confirmed that all 11 of the fighters tested at UFC 97 have come back clean. The event took place on March 7th and was headlined by former UFC light heavyweight champ Quinton “Rampage” Jackson’s convincing unanimous decision win over Keith Jardine.
Oddly, the OAC only tests the victors and one random loser following their matchups. Jason Day was the lucky winner, that was a loser, this time around.
Along with Rampage and Day, Shane Carwin, Matt Brown, Matt Hamill, Gray Maynard, Tamdan McCrory, Kendall Grove, Jason Brilz, Brandon Vera and Shane Nelson all came up clean.
All of the contestants were tested for drugs of abuse, such as marijuana, as well performance-enhancers, including steroids.
