Dream.8 Fight Order Released, Ninja Scrapped

Today, the popular Japanese MMA organization Dream released the official fight order for their Dream.8 event on April 5th. WAMMA lightweight champion Shinya Aoki will be taking on Hayato Sakurai in the 1stRound of their Welterweight Grand Prix Tournament, however the card will be short one “Ninja.”

Just days before the event is set to jump off, Dong Sik Yoon will be forced out of his bout against Murilo “Ninja” Rua due to an undisclosed injury.

Dream brass are trying to find a last-second replacement, however have officially removed the bout from the Sunday card in the meantime.

The show will be held inside of the Nippon Gaishi Hall in Nagoya, Japan. Unfortunately for you hardcore Dream fans, this event will not be broadcast live on HDNet as have previous Japanese events.

HDNet will be airing this card on a five-day tape-delay on April 10th.
