After a successful return to the Octagon at UFC Fight Night 18, Brock Larson has officially agreed to step in for the injured Josh Koscheck to take on Chris Wilson at UFC 98.The organization confirmed Larson’s status on their website early Thursday morning.
Larson’s 1stRound submission of Jesse Sanders marked his first bout for the UFC in over three years. He will be riding a three-fight winning streak into the May 23rd affair at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Wilson has dropped two of his last three bouts, with his most recent L coming at the hands of John Howard at UFC 94 earlier this year.
With Larson subbing in to face Wilson, the organization has decided to bump that bout to the un-televised portion of the event and promote the slug-fest between James Irvin and Drew McFedries to the show’s main bouts.
