Today, the Japanese MMA organization Dream announced the quarterfinal match-ups for their Featherweight Grand Prix. Dream.9 will be headlined by the return of featherweight sensation Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto after the popular fighter had received a bye in the 1stRound.

Unfortunately, Daiki Hata will not be able to compete in the 2ndRound of the tourney due to an eye injury. Ironically, he will be replaced by Hideo Tokoro, the man that Hata took a unanimous decision loss over at Dream.8.

Yamamoto has been perfect through his last 14 scraps and currently holds a dominating 17-1 professional record. You can never say that this relentless brawler doesn’t go for the kill as he has finished off 14 of his previous opponents.
