Miller Time at UFC 100 for Danzig

The UFC vowed to host a sensational UFC 100 event, and they are not disappointing. It is being reported that a lightweight clash between “The Ultimate Fighter 6” winner Mac Danzig and the up-and-coming Jim Miller will be added to their July 11th promotion.

MMAjunkie.com confirmed with a source close to the situation that bout agreements have been issued, and should be signed and submitted shortly.

Although Danzig’s UFC career looked promising after he took the TUF 6 crown, he now finds himself in a must-win situation after dropping his last two. The veteran has also lost four of his last six.

He currently holds a 2-2 record inside the Octagon and could be the second TUF winner to get booted from the organization. Travis Lutter, the TUF 4 winner, was the first.

Miller is fresh off of a unanimous decision loss to Gray Maynard at UFC 96 just last month. Prior to his setback against the Xtreme Couture fighter, the IFL fallout had won his previous eight fights.

The bad news is that this 155-pound battle will be on the non-televised portion of the pay-per-view event. The good news is that the card is deep enough to have a fight of this caliber open for the featured bouts.

Here is the Rumored lineup that the fans inside of the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas will play witness to:

Jonathan Goulet vs. Dong Hyun Kim
Matt Grice vs. Shannon Gugerty
Tom Lawler vs. CB Dollaway
Mac Danzig vs. Jim Miller
Paulo Thiago vs. Jon Fitch
Mark Coleman vs. Stephan Bonnar
Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Alan Belcher
Jon Jones vs. Jake O’Brien
Michael Bisping vs. Dan Henderson
Frank Mir (Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion) vs. Brock Lesnar (UFC Heavyweight Champion)
Thiago Alves vs. Georges St-Pierre (UFC Welterweight Champion)
