After hosting back-to-back disappointing UFC main events, Zuffa, LLC, the parent company of the UFC and WEC, are looking for a resounding comeback when they kick off their first WEC pay-per-view broadcast this Saturday.
“WEC 48: Aldo vs. Faber” will feature a featherweight title bout between former champ Urijah Faber and reigning king Jose Aldo.
Faber once held an unreal 21-1 professional record, but has dropped two out of his last four contests. Both of his losses came to former 145-pound champ Mike Brown, however “The California Kid” will be able to erase those blemishes with a win over Aldo inside Arco Arena.
Although Aldo is a 3-to-1 favorite to retain his crown, he has never faced a beast like Faber. At the same time, Faber hasn’t seen anyone like Aldo inside of a cage either.
Neither fighter has fought anyone as explosive or dynamic as the other, and they’ll be looking to showcase their exceptional skills this Saturday night at “WEC 48: Aldo vs. Faber” in Sacramento, California.
Without further adieu, here’s White’s latest video blog as he attempts to entice fans into paying $44.95 for this weekend’s PPV:
