The UFC and Spike TV have just announced that a light heavyweight scrap between Keith Jardine and Matt Hamill will headline “The Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale” on June 19th.
Jardine owns a respectable 15-7-1 professional record, however has fallen on tough times having lost his last three bouts. In his defense, they have come against some of the stiffest competition in the division in Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Thiago Silva and Ryan Bader, respectively.
Fans last saw Hamill being handed a controversial disqualification win over up-and-coming superstar Jon Jones after “Bones” landed a devastating, yet illegal, north-south elbow to Hamill’s head that prevented him from continuing.
The TUF 11 Finale will be held inside the Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Here are the contestants rumored/slated for the Spike TV broadcast:
Travis Browne vs. James McSweeney
Chris Leben vs. Aaron Simpson
Spencer Fisher vs. Dennis Siver
Middleweight Finalist #1 vs. Middleweight Finalist #2
Matt Hamill vs. Keith Jardine
