UFC Light Heavyweight Tito Ortiz and Jenna Jameson

Being a married man, I would never make light of any domestic violence situation. However, yesterday’s “disturbance” between former UFC champ Tito Ortiz and Jenna Jameson took on a TMZ life of its own – literally.

Only few people know exactly what went down inside the Huntington Beach, California home the two share, however celebrities have survived much bigger scandals than this.

So before we start with the wife-beater remarks, let’s examine the evidence that’s been brought to light thus far.

I’m no detective, but if Ortiz would have injured or struck or done anything violent to the former porn vixen, she would have been immediately escorted to the station to have the injuries documented (Please see Rihanna image, courtesy of Chris Brown).

Instead, Jameson drove herself to a local CVS to pick up a rinky-dink arm sleeve and was posing for paparazzi with her 13-month-old twins, as opposed to taking pictures of her war wounds for police.

Here’s a TMZ timeline of Monday’s real-life soap opera:

Jameson’s father, who was in the house when the ruckus occurred, called the Huntington Beach Police Department at 9:53 AM to report a “disturbance.”

According to the OCRegister, the call said, “a boyfriend had pushed his girlfriend down.”

As soon as police arrived, TMZ reported that Jameson emerged with “visible injuries” and Ortiz was immediately put in handcuffs and taken into custody.

Ortiz tried to play off his sticky predicament by claiming he was actually getting escorted to a training session.

“No, I’m gonna show them jiu jitsu,” Ortiz sarcastically told TMZ cameras.

Are you being arrested for domestic violence?

Are you sure???

So why you in handcuffs???

Silence …

Moments later, TMZ caught up with a teary-eyed Jameson and managed to get a few questions in before she drove off with her dad. (FYI – The former porn superstar used her right arm to help steer the car, the same limb she claimed was injured in the tussle)

“Yeah, I’m ok. I really can’t talk about it right now. I’m gonna be ok,” Jameson said while donning a large pair of dark sunglasses. “The babies are alright. Everything’s ok. He’s in jail.”

She also said she will follow through with pressing charges against the father of her children.

While Jameson didn’t say where she was speeding off to, TMZ cameras caught her leaving a local CVS minutes later sporting the aforementioned arm wrap.

As of late Monday afternoon, Ortiz remained locked up and was held on $25,000 bail. Meanwhile, a distraught Jameson and father state that a restraining order is currently in place – as they pack Ortiz’s belongings in the trunk of a white Rolls Royce Phantom.

Here’s Jenna posing for pics with the boys in front of the scene of the crime:

Jameson reemerges to state Ortiz has been released and they hope to talk later in the afternoon. She hopes to work things out for the sake of the twins.

Jenna also claims the incident “wasn’t minor,” yet seamlessly opens and closes the car door with her “injured” arm.

Ortiz hosted a press conference after posting bail late Monday night. After reiterating his innocence, Ortiz accused Jameson of a year-long addiction to Oxycontin, a popular prescription pain killer, and that was the cause of the altercation.

“My parents have gone through an addiction, and I’ve seen a mirror again, and I’m not going to let my family go through that,”  Ortiz stated. “I speak from the heart, and as I say … I hold everything dear to my heart that Jenna will be ok.”

After hearing what her hubby stated at the presser, Jameson decided to tell her side. Apparently, she “said something very hurtful to his ego” and then Ortiz “threw me into the bathtub and tore two ligaments in my shoulder.”

“He’s trying to save his career,” Jameson said as she hopped in a car destined for Vegas.

UFC president Dana White told TMZ that they could cut the controversial wrestler, however would wait until all the facts come out before rushing to judgment. Although, he did mention that hitting a women is one of the most despicable acts a man can commit.

“Other than going on a killing spree, being accused of domestic violence is the worst thing you can have going for you,” White stated.
