Up-and-coming UFC star Anthony “Rumble” Johnson has announced that he will be forced to pull out of his The Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale bout against Matt Brown due to a knee injury.

Johnson made the official announcement on his MySpace page, but there has been no word from the UFC regarding the situation or a replacement.

The organization has a full month to scour the globe for Johnson’s sub, however it isn’t out of the realm of possibilities that they would scrap the fight entirely.

The explosive welterweight holds an impressive 7-2 professional mark and is perfect through his last two. Johnson didn’t give a timeline as to how long he will be riding the pine.

The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort will be hosting the June 20th event. Here are the fighters Rumored to be competing in the SpikeTV event:

Matt Brown vs. TBD
Mike Ciesnolevicz vs.Tomasz Drwal
Chris Lytle vs. Kevin Burns
Brad Blackburn vs. Edgar Garcia
Nate Diaz vs. Joe Stevenson
TUF 9 Lightweight Finals
TUF 9 Welterweight Finals
Clay Guida vs. Diego Sanchez
