Jenna Jameson and Tito Ortiz: It was “A Big Misunderstanding”

As most expected, Monday’s drama between Tito Ortiz and Jenna Jameson is being summed up as “a big misunderstanding.” Both parties are now quickly backpedaling from the vicious allegations they flung at each other just three days ago.

“What actually happened has now been dramatically distorted and misinterpreted and remarks that both Tito and I made after the police arrived reflect the state of shock that we were both in,” the former porn star told TMZ.com Thursday morning.

The celebrity gossip website reported earlier today that Jameson submitted a drug test immediately after being “attacked” by the former UFC light heavyweight champ. The results were negative for ten major substances, including oxycodone – the primary ingredient contained in OxyContin, Jameson’s alleged drug of choice.

Ortiz’s personal lawyer, Chip Matthews, now tells TMZ the whole “wife-beater/drug addiction thing” was “a big misunderstanding.”

Based on TMZ’s exceptional coverage and 5thRound.com’s unmatched imagination, here’s what most likely went down at the Jameson residence on Monday:

Ortiz found two “very old” bottles of the prescription drugs in Jameson’s possession and immediately “jumped to conclusions.” Ortiz confronted the mother of his 13-month-old twin boys about the pills and a non-physical argument ensued.

Jameson’s 185ish-pound father was standing close by, but was scared to step between the two, as he’s clearly out of Ortiz’s weight class. The potential middleweight wisely chose to call the cops and report the “disturbance” instead.

The Huntington Beach Police Department arrive and hear that yet another celebrity couple got into a domestic dispute. As expected, Ortiz is immediately taken into custody – regardless of fault or evidence – while Jameson makes a quick trip to a local CVS to buy a rinky-dink arm band to justify getting her man arrested.

One public lie lead to another and their minor spat took on a TMZ life of its own, literally.

No word on what the next move is for the power couple or if Ortiz has been allowed back in the Southern California home they share. There was a temporary restraining order in place when Ortiz was arrested, however it appears that should be lifted shortly.

According to the report, Ortiz was set to lose roughly $15 million if he was prosecuted for domestic violence. In addition to his UFC contract, “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” has his hands in many other business ventures, including his popular clothing brand – Punishment Athletics.
