According to reports, a welterweight bout between former IFL champ Jay Hieron and Paul Daley has been inked for Affliction III. Although the company has yet to officially confirm anything, the card appears to be filling out nicely.

MMA FanHouse, the same site that initially broke the news that WAMMA champ Fedor Emelianenko would be defending his crown against Josh Barnett on the August 1st card, confirmed the 170-pound fight.

The Xtreme Couture trained fighter made his debut with Affliction on their “Day of Reckoning” event earlier this year. It took him all of 64 seconds to dispose of Jason High, earning him his fourth consecutive win.

Hieron will jeopardize his winning streak to face a Cage Rage vet who is trying to recapture his old form. Before being utterly dominated by Jake Shields at “EliteXC: Heat,” Daley had won six straight scraps. Since, he has won three of his last four, but is still light-years away from being among the world’s best.

As of now, here are the fighters Rumored to be fighting inside of the Honda Center in Anaheim, California:

Jay Hieron vs. Paul Daley
Chris Horodecki vs. Dan Lauzon
Gegard Mousassi vs. Vitor Belfort
Paul Buentello vs. Tim Sylvia
Josh Barnett vs. Fedor Emelianenko (WAMMA Heavyweight Champion)
