THQ CEO Brian Farrell has announced that the popular mixed martial arts simulation, “UFC Undisputed 2009,” has shipped out two million copies of the game worldwide. This video game marks the UFC’s first in years, and has received rave reviews from fans and gaming critics alike.
“UFC Undisputed 2009” is currently available for both the XBOX 360 and Playstation3 consoles.
Farrell did state that the UFC franchise will be similar to the WWE franchise, and that we could “do the math” regarding what that means.
His statements coincide with what UFC president Dana White said last week at the 2008 Video Game Awards on Spike TV. White notified fans that “UFC 2010 Undisputed” will be released later next year, insinuating that THQ and the UFC will be launching annual editions of the video game for some time to come.
