“UFC 113: Machida vs. Shogun II” took place Saturday night inside the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
The card featured the highly anticipated light heavyweight rematch between champ Lyoto Machida and Mauricio Shogun” Rua. Although Shogun dropped a controversial unanimous decision at UFC 104, he left no doubt last night as to who the world’s best 205-pounder is.
Despite Shogun’s impressive win, it is Paul Daley’s despicable post-fight cheap shot on Josh Koscheck that is hoarding all the headlines. UFC president Dana White immediately kicked Daley out of his organization for the classless act he displayed following his unanimous decision loss.
Speaking of leaving the UFC, it appears street fighting sensation Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson has seen his last days inside an Octagon after Matt Mitrione put him down in the 2ndRound of their heated contest.

Dana White on Paul Daley:
“He’s done. I don’t care if he fights in every show all over the world and becomes the best and everybody thinks he’s the pound-for-pound best in the world. He will never fight in the UFC ever again.”
“I’m probably the most lenient guys in sports, and this is probably one of the most lenient organizations. We’re all human, we all mistakes, things happen. There’s no excuse for that. These guys are professional athletes. You don’t ever hit a guy blatantly after the bell like that, whether you’re frustrated or not. It was probably one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen.”
In a desperate attempt to save his job, Daley told White after the fight that he didn’t hear the bell.
Dana White on Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson
“That’s probably Kimbo’s last fight in the UFC. Kimbo made it farther than I thought he would.”
